The CPR construction cable Standard CEI EN 50525 is a flexible cable suitable for power supply in buildings and other civil engineering works. The conductor core is a round annealed red copper wire, while the insulation is S17 quality PVC. The cable is able to offer superior performance thanks to its extreme handling, great smoothness when laying in the duct and high resistance to abrasion and peelability. Available in various colours, it is stamped on the insulation every 0.5 m. It also complies with the requirements of the European Construction Products Standard (CPR UE 305/11) and is suitable for fixed and protected installation on or inside lighting fixtures, inside switchgear and control apparatus and equipment, for voltages up to 1000V in alternating current or, in case of direct current, up to 750V to earth.
